This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies may be used on digitaleka.de and how you can manage them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on, or accessed from, your device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, SDKs, and browser-based identifiers. They may be used to keep a service working, remember choices, measure usage, or support advertising.

2. Necessary technologies

We use CCM19 to display the consent dialog and store your consent choices. The consent manager and any storage needed to protect the website, maintain a secure connection, or provide a feature you explicitly request may operate without optional marketing consent where legally permitted.

The public website does not require an account. If our API issues an authentication cookie in a future authenticated flow, that cookie is used only for the requested authenticated function.

3. Security verification with Google reCAPTCHA

The contact form and AI chatbot use Google reCAPTCHA to protect the API from spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA is loaded and executed only after the relevant CCM19 consent has been accepted. If you decline that consent, the contact form and chatbot cannot submit messages; you can still contact us by email or telephone.

Google states that reCAPTCHA may set the _GRECAPTCHA cookie and process technical and interaction data for risk analysis. We use the www.recaptcha.net endpoint. See Google’s reCAPTCHA FAQ.

4. Analytics and advertising technologies

Only after the relevant CCM19 consent is granted, we may load and use:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for page views, navigation, content views, form events, language, browser/device information, and campaign parameters.
  • Microsoft Clarity for aggregated product and usability analysis, such as page rendering, clicks, scrolling, and interaction patterns. Consent is passed to Clarity and the service is not loaded for these purposes before consent.
  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API for selected page-view, contact, lead, and content events and campaign measurement. The browser pixel may use identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc when available.

Typical identifiers can include _ga and _ga_* for Google Analytics, _clck and _clsk for Clarity, and _fbp or _fbc for Meta. Exact names, providers, and retention periods can change with the active vendor configuration and are shown in the CCM19 consent information.

5. Managing your choice

You can accept or decline optional technologies in the CCM19 dialog and change your choice later. Open cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary storage or reCAPTCHA may limit website functions, including the contact form and chatbot.
